UI/UX design that makes products easier to use and easier to buy
We research, map and design the screens people actually use: web apps, dashboards, mobile app interfaces and conversion-focused websites. Developers review every design, so what we draw is what can be built.
UI/UX design is the work of planning how a product behaves (UX) and how it looks (UI). Our UI/UX projects are scoped to a fixed written quote, and design for a custom app starts from AED 2,000 ($550 or ₹45,000) as part of a build. Deliverables include user flows, wireframes, prototypes and a UI kit.
- Fixed written quote
- Developers review every design
- Prototype before build
What is UI/UX design?
UX (user experience) design decides how a product works for the people using it: which steps they take, what they see first and where they might get stuck. UI (user interface) design decides how each screen looks: layout, colour, type, buttons and icons.
Put simply, UX is the route and UI is the road surface. A beautiful interface on a confusing route still frustrates users, and a clear route on an ugly interface still feels untrustworthy. Good products need both.
For a business, the result shows up in practical ways: fewer support questions, staff who learn a new system quickly, shoppers who finish checkout and enquiries that arrive in the first visit.
- UX research: who the users are, what they are trying to do and what slows them down.
- Information architecture: how content and features are grouped and named.
- User flows and wireframes: the steps and the skeleton of each screen.
- Prototypes: clickable mock-ups you can test before any code is written.
- Visual UI and design system: the look, plus reusable components for consistency.

UI/UX design services we offer
You can hire us for one stage, such as an audit, or for the whole path from research to a built product.
UX audit
A structured review of an existing site or app that finds friction, lists fixes in priority order and shows where users drop off.
Wireframes and prototypes
Low-fidelity layouts and clickable prototypes that let you and your team test the idea before development begins.
User flows
Maps of the steps a person takes to finish a task, such as placing an order, raising an invoice or booking a visit.
Mobile app UI design
Interfaces for installable web apps (PWA) and cross-platform apps, designed for thumbs, small screens and weak networks.
Mobile appsDashboard design
Admin panels and reporting screens where staff read numbers, filter tables and act quickly, designed for clarity over decoration.
Web appsDesign systems for small business
A compact set of colours, type, buttons, forms and components so every new page looks and behaves the same.
UI/UX deliverables: what you receive
Each deliverable has a clear purpose. Your written quote lists exactly which ones are in scope.
| Deliverable | What it is | What it gives you |
|---|---|---|
| User and task summary | A short document on who uses the product and the main jobs they need done | Agreement on priorities before any design starts |
| Information architecture | A sitemap or feature map with names and grouping | A structure people can navigate without training |
| User flows | Step-by-step diagrams for key tasks | Fewer steps, fewer dead ends |
| Wireframes | Black-and-white screen layouts showing content and controls | Fast feedback on layout without distraction from colour |
| Interactive prototype | A clickable model of the main journeys | A way to test with real users or staff before building |
| Visual UI designs | Final screens in your brand colours, type and imagery for desktop and mobile | A clear target for development |
| UI kit and design system | Reusable buttons, form fields, tables, cards and rules for their use | Consistency and faster future pages |
| Developer hand-off notes | Spacing, states, behaviours and edge cases explained | A design that is built as drawn |
| Accessibility checks | Contrast, tap targets, keyboard order and labels reviewed | A product more people can use |
Not every project needs every row. A small business site might need flows, wireframes and a UI kit, while a complex dashboard may need a full prototype and testing.
How a UX audit works
A UX audit is an expert review of an existing website or application to find what stops people from completing tasks. It is the fastest way to improve a live product without rebuilding it.
Define the goals
We agree what success looks like: more enquiries, fewer abandoned carts, faster staff entry or fewer support calls.
Review the data
We study analytics, Search Console, support questions and heatmaps or recordings where you already have them. If you have none, we work from the product itself.
Walk the key journeys
We complete the main tasks on desktop and mobile, noting every point of confusion, delay or error.
Check usability and accessibility
We review navigation, forms, labels, contrast, tap size, speed and error messages against well-known usability principles and WCAG basics.
Report and prioritise
You receive a written list of findings with screenshots, ranked by effort and likely impact, plus quick wins and larger redesign ideas.
Do I need UX, UI or both?
The right starting point depends on the problem. Use this table to choose.
| Your situation | You probably need | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Visitors arrive but do not enquire or buy | UX audit, then UI changes | The route is the problem, not only the look |
| The product works but looks dated or inconsistent | UI refresh and a design system | Structure is fine, presentation is not |
| Staff find the internal system slow or confusing | UX research, flows and a redesigned dashboard | Task flow and information layout matter most |
| You have an idea for a new app | Both, starting with flows and a prototype | Test the idea cheaply before paying for code |
| You want a new brand website | UI-led web design with UX planning | Message, layout and look all matter |
| Mobile checkout loses customers | UX audit of the checkout, then targeted UI fixes | Small friction points cost the most here |
| Several pages look different from each other | Design system | Consistency saves time and builds trust |
How UX that converts is designed
Conversion is when a visitor takes the action you want: calling, booking, requesting a quote or paying. UX that converts removes doubt and effort at the moment of decision.
We start from the buyer's questions. A dental clinic visitor wants prices, opening hours, a map and a booking button. A Dubai trading company buyer wants product ranges, minimum orders and a fast way to request a quotation. A page that answers those first is easier to act on.
Then we reduce effort. Shorter forms, a visible WhatsApp or call option, plain labels and sensible defaults all help. We design the page so the main action is obvious on a phone without scrolling through decoration.
- One main action per screen, with secondary actions visually quieter.
- Proof near the decision: real photos, policies, delivery or payment details beside the button.
- Clear error handling: forms explain what went wrong and keep what the user already typed.
- Speed: faster pages hold attention, which links UX to SEO. See how website speed affects SEO.
UI design by product type
Websites, dashboards and mobile apps need different design thinking.
| Product | Design focus | Typical screens |
|---|---|---|
| Business website | Trust, message clarity and search-friendly structure | Home, service pages, about, contact, landing pages |
| Web app or dashboard | Dense information made readable, fast data entry, clear roles and permissions | Lists, filters, forms, reports, user settings |
| Invoice or quotation app | Fast creation, accurate totals, tidy printable output | Document editor, customer list, PDF preview. See custom invoicing app development. |
| Mobile app UI | Thumb reach, short tasks, offline and weak-network states | Onboarding, home, lists, detail, forms, notifications |
| E-commerce store | Findability, product confidence, trusted checkout | Category, product, cart, checkout, order status |
Working with developers: why design and build should talk
Many projects go wrong in the gap between a designer and a developer. A design assumes a data table can resize freely, or that a map loads instantly, and the build then cannot match it. Fixing that late costs time and money.
Because S R Tech Studio is developer-led, the people who scope the work also write the code. We check feasibility while designing, name components in a way developers can reuse and document states such as empty, loading and error screens. You can hire us for design only and hand the files to your own developers, or have us carry the design into web application development or web development.
If you already work with a developer, we can supply the prototype, UI kit and hand-off notes in a form they can build from.
- Agree the scope and the deliverables list in the written quote.
- Share any existing brand files, analytics and customer questions.
- Review flows and wireframes first, and visual design second.
- Test the prototype with two or three real users or staff members if possible.
- Approve the design, then move to build with the same team or yours.

India designUI/UX design questions answered
What is the difference between UI and UX design?
UX design plans how a product works: the tasks, steps and structure. UI design plans how it looks: layout, colours, type and buttons. UX is the route and UI is the road surface. A product needs both, and we design them together so the screens look right and also guide people to finish what they came to do.
How much do UI/UX design services cost?
UI/UX work is scoped to your project and quoted in writing after a scoping call. Design is usually part of a build, and custom web apps start from AED 2,000 in the UAE, $550 in the US and ₹45,000 in India. Standalone audits and prototypes are priced by scope. See pricing.
What is a UX audit and when do I need one?
A UX audit is an expert review of an existing site or app to find friction that stops people finishing tasks. You need one when traffic is fine but enquiries or sales are weak, when staff complain about an internal system or before a redesign so you fix the right things.
What is the difference between a wireframe and a prototype?
A wireframe is a simple black-and-white layout showing what goes where on a screen. A prototype links screens together so you can click through a journey as if it were the real product. Wireframes settle layout, and prototypes test flow before any code is written.
Can you design a mobile app interface?
Yes. We design interfaces for installable web apps (PWA) and cross-platform apps, with attention to small screens, thumb reach and weak networks. Ask on the scoping call whether your project suits a PWA or needs a different route. See mobile app development.
Do you design dashboards and admin panels?
Yes. Dashboards need careful hierarchy, readable tables, useful filters and role-based views. We design them with the developers who will build them, so data loading and permissions are considered from the start.
Do you do usability testing?
Yes, in a practical form. We can test a prototype with a few real users or staff, watch where they hesitate and report fixes. Larger formal research programmes are scoped separately, and we say so in the quote.
Do small businesses need a design system?
A light one, yes. It is a short set of colours, fonts, buttons and form styles used everywhere. It keeps pages consistent, speeds up new pages and lowers cost when you add features later. It does not need to be a large document.
Can you design only, and let my developers build it?
Yes. We can hand over a prototype, UI kit and developer notes in a form your team can build from. If you prefer, our developers can build it so nothing is lost between design and code.
Will good UX help my SEO?
Indirectly, yes. Clear structure, fast pages, mobile-friendly layouts and content that answers questions help both visitors and search engines. UX does not replace SEO work, so pair it with SEO services if rankings are a goal.
